Every general-ledger entry is cryptographically linked to the one before it. A weekly job walks the whole chain and raises a critical alert if a single link breaks — so the books cannot be silently rewritten.
Every hard-won fix is recorded in a cryptographically signed (Ed25519) manifest. If a later change silently undoes one, the signed record flags the regression automatically.
AI features run under a fixed monthly naira ceiling. When a budget pool is exhausted the system fails closed — it stops calling the model rather than overspending — and raises exactly one alert.
The MD's AI tools are read-only and scoped by signed token. They surface data and draft actions for a human to approve — they cannot move money, post to the ledger, or message a customer on their own.
